Milton Estuardo Argueta Pinto is an attorney at law and notary public, with over twenty-five years of professional practice in the areas of corporate law, banking, arbitration and legal-financial structures for project development.

Legal Advisor Stock Corporation (Global Stock Exchange, National Agricultural Stock Exchange, Central de Valores, (1995-2009)
Legal Advisor Banco de Antigua, S. A. (1997 -2005, participation with Bufete Saravia & Muñoz)
Director of the Bank of Antigua (1998-2002)
Arbitrator of the Arbitration and Conciliation Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Guatemala and of the Conflict Resolution Commission of the Chamber of Industry of Guatemala, to date.
Private practice from 1987 to 2014 in the law firms “Argueta González & Argueta Pinto” and “Argueta & Alvarado” and currently founding partner of Signature Regional Law Firm.
He was Alternate Judge of the Court of Appeals, period 1998-2000 and is an arbitrator appointed by the State of Guatemala for the resolution of conflicts, chapter of NAFTA Investments.
In the academic area, he has been Dean of the Francisco Marroquín University Law School for more than twenty years.
He is Professor of the courses of “Societies” and “Titles of Credit” in the above mentioned Faculty.
He has been professor and guest lecturer in different opportunities by the Guatemalan Institute of Notarial Law, the School of Judicial Studies and the Summer School “Juan Carlos I” of the Guatemalan Judicial Branch.
He has won three times the “Charles L Stillman” Academic Award with his essays “Human Rights and the Market”. “Notes for a Liberal Legal Tradition” and “Goodbye, Boys, and Don’t Forget the Lesson”.
With his work of incorporation to the Guatemalan Institute of Notarial Law he won the “Notario Arturo Peralta” Award, given annually by the Institute to the best work of incorporation.
He is an active member of the Guatemalan Bar Association, a member of the Guatemalan Institute of Notarial Law and the civic organization “Asociación de Amigos del País” and a trustee of the Francisco Marroquín University.
He is fluent in English and Spanish.
